Billi.so

Billi is an initiative launched by Embarq and developed in-house, building up on years of experience in the field of interim management.

I designed every aspect of the product (Branding, back-office app & front-office app) during the first quarter of 2023.

Painpoint

Inefficiency of administrative tools for agencies of freelancers: disorganized and diverse processes that make tracking, invoicing, and managing these resources tedious.

Solution

Creating a simple and open SAAS platform compatible with other solutions (banking, accounting, payroll...) to manage contract creation, resource management (documents, personal information...), activity reporting, expense report submission, and invoicing.

Business approach

Creating testable prototypes showing core features of the app to make leads using demos and getting clients enrolled before MVP development is done.

Design methodology

• Design of a service blueprint which displays the platform’s job-to-be done together with all interactions between every counterpart involved (management firm, freelance, company) and key interactions on the back-end side

  

• UX functional specifications: Personas, data architecture, notifications, flowcharts by functional element on the platform.

• Wireframing: Tons of iterations for both front and back offices
